Dear Prospective Client:
Welcome to the Blog 
For the last 20 years I’ve specialized in Wedding Photography in Minneapolis. It’s so much fun….some days I feel like “I would shoot this Wedding for free” If I won 200 million in the PowerBall I’d still shoot a dozen weddings a year. :0
I am a “PHOTOGRAPHER” NOT A “DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER” I studied photography in college and made prints in a thing called a “DARKROOM’..(I still have one but I mainly use it to store my obsolete computers:)
I shoot with the latest Canon (digital) Cameras but my most important tool is really my “Eye” the ability to pre-visualize images and make “something out of nothing” and as far as hardware my Fine Lenses ($$$$$) are more important than how many megapixels my digital body produces.
The first thing I look for in a new location is a place where the “Quality of Light” is impressive…I’ve made the most beautiful portraits in a stairwell or in front of a concrete support pillar with just the right light.
But beyond any technical skills…..WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IS PEOPLE PHOTOGRAPHY !!! and the photographer himself is an element in your wedding images…the ability to help people relax and have fun is really one of my most important skills. You may choose to invite me to participate in your wedding, the images on this blog will help you with that decision.
I admit to being very proud of my work, and I do take it seriously. Personally I
LIKE THE DRAMA of shooting Weddings every week….It’s IMPORTANT !!! To do Wedding Photography well is a challenge…it’s not easy, it is fun, and I love it.
